Peter Kinney uses traditional artist's materials in his work as well as earth, stones, and wild grass . He asked
me to walk around his installation and take slides with my 35mm camera and flash. I explained that
there would be some glare, uneven lighting, and harsh shadows. But this job took one-third
the time of a photo job that requires setting up hot lights and a tripod.
