Camping in the spring
Bryce Canyon National Park

Everyday was below freezing
Everyday was so hot I was sweating
It snowed everyday
We hiked in snowstorms
And the sun came out everyday

Our basecamp was at the top of a mountain
A thousand feet above the valley on one side
A hundred feet on the other
The wind whipped around below our tents
Whipped back against itself
Louder than a thousand cars on the expressway
And quiet returned to the forest
Everyday
